Laker Enrichment Afterschool is the Camdenton School District afterschool program. Laker Enrichment, also known as LEAP, provides a variety of activities for students to participate in during afterschool hours. Programming is open to all students. Each site provides some type
of activities for students to enjoy. Our elementaries, Osage Beach, Hurricane Deck, Dogwood and Hawthorn, all offer afterschool programming for students. The programs include academic support and enrichment, hands-on learning activities, STEM projects, recreational activities and community partnerships that enhance student learning.

Oak Ridge Intermediate, Camdenton Middle School and Camdenton High School also provide programming. These programs focus on academic success and helping students reach their highest potential. Students will receive homework help, gain math and reading skills and
participate in a variety of learning activities, including, field trips, guest speakers and special programs. Group projects and community service opportunities are included in the curriculum, giving students the opportunity to learn more about the community and how it works.

Lake Career Technical Center, LCTC, serves as a site for a variety of enrichment activities for students of all ages, including adult enrichment education classes.

Laker Enrichment Afterschool Programs are offered Monday-Thursday from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Snacks and recreational activities are provided, giving students a break between the school day and afterschool time. Programs end at 5:30 PM, with transportation provided to
designated drop-off points determined by the district. Morning programming varies from site to site, with library time beginning at 7:00 AM.

Programming will vary from year to year based on the availability of funding, staff, facilities, volunteers and supplies. Lottery rules may apply and/or criteria will vary based on activity, grade level, academic content, and other criteria as deemed appropriate.

Laker Enrichment Afterschool Programs are financially supported by the Nita M. Lowey 21^st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) grant and technically supported by the Missouri AfterSchool Network (MASN).
